As the festive season draws near, Jonathan Potter Limited is delighted to remind you that we have immediately available hundreds of maps at prices less than £250, available on our website here, as well as our more general stock.

  

Recent additions include maps of the world and areas from the 1950s.  We have a good number of these maps from “The Times Mid-Century Atlas” – the finest of the period, showing the world at a time of great political tension and changing national identities.  Carefully produced and often very beautiful, this selection has never been bound or sold before, so retains a freshness not often seen.  Maps include:

the former USSR;

Pakistan and Afghanistan;

Malaysia and Singapore;

Arabia;

the World on multiple projections, including its Oceanography, Physical Geography, Vegetation and Mankind.

Remember that we have multiple examples of these maps available, so even if one is marked SOLD on our website, please enquire.

Other highlights include county maps from the “Large English Atlas” of the mid eighteenth century, and further counties by the Greenwoods of the early nineteenth century – two of the finest county map series ever produced.
