In the last weeks
of life of George Harrison
Ringo Starr, one of his partners
and friend from The Beatles
went to visit him in Switzerland
George was very ill,
dying of cancer.
He was laying in bed
in that precarious condition
and at the end of the visit,
Ringo told George
he was going to Boston
to visit his daughter
who had a brain tumor.
So Ringo said,
"Well, I got to go,
I've got to go to Boston".
Then he heard the following last words
from George, who said:
"Do you want me to come with you?"
So, 'you know', ended Ringo, in tears,
'that's the incredible side of George',
as appears in the interview that forms
part of the documentary by Martin Scorsese,
'George Harrison - Living in the Material World'
