This song was named after Chick's
father, Armando, a jazz trumpet
player who had led a Dixieland
band in the Boston area in the
1930's and 1940's.
He introduced Chick to the piano
at the age of four.
Chick's given first name was
Armando, as well. Here he is
playing a solo piano version of
"Armando's Rhumba," which he
composed himself.
