New Issue Announcement

Volume 17, Issue 2| June 2012

Editors-in-Chief Carl Folke and Lance Gunderson are pleased to announce the publication of Volume 17, Issue 2 ofEcology and Society. This issue sees the closure of the special feature Balancing Ecology and Community Using Cumulative Effects Models edited by Marian Weber and Naomi Krogman. We are also pleased to publish the first manuscripts in the following two special features: (1) Urban Ecological and Social-Ecological Research in the City of Cape Town edited by Pippin Anderson and Thomas Elmqvist; and (2) Bridging Conservation and Development in Latin America and Africa: Changing Contexts, Changing Strategies edited by Claudia Romero and Lisa Seales.
