Earl "Fatha" Hines' legendary broadcasts
from Chicago's, Grand Terrace Café were
an early influence cited by numerous jazz
musicians including Art Tatum.
Throughout the 1930s Earl and his Orchestra
were featured in their own live half hour radio
show a number of times a week making him
the most broadcast bandleader in America.
In the sprit of nostalgia and education
we present "Fatha" Hines live from the
Grand Terrace courtesy of 30sJazz.com.
